OUR JOURNEY
The story, so far...
Read ahead to learn more about the adventures of Eyesight Productions.
2014
Alex Murray, the head of Eyesight Productions, had an idea. To create a local production company in which he and others had the freedom to tell visually creative short stories. Eyesight Productions was born.
2015
Eyesight Productions was officially announced to the world in January 2015. The Facebook page went live and interest starting flowing in. Development on the first project from the company started.
2016
Development continued with screenwriting and production planning at the earliesr stages for a project which at the time was titled 'The Coffee Girl'. This would soon be changed to 'The Girl in the Café'.
2017
Production started in the Summer of 2017 for 'The Girl in the Café', which was filmed in the Market Harborough Theatre Lounge. Post-production soon followed later in the year.
2018
In January 2018, there was a private showing for 'The Girl in the Café', which garnered great acclaim from all involved. Later in the year, we launched our website with the support of Charlie Wright. Work started on the next project which then birthed Eyesight Animation.
2019
Early in the year saw the release of the second project, titled 'Oink!', which was released on Valentine's Day. 'Oink!' was another success. Other Eyesight Animation ideas were then pursued.
2020
Eyesight Animation officially went on hold while short filmmaker Harrison Wright wrote and directed 'Obsessiveness', which came out in May, 2020. A new blog series was also launched, but the global pandemic affected future productions at Eyesight.
